Charter extract
Extract from the statutes adopted by the General Meeting:
§2.1 The purpose of the association is to advance the quality, safety and professional standing of dry construction and interior finishing works in Latvia through standards, education, certification and representation of the trade.
§2.2 The association is established for an indefinite period and operates in the public benefit. It shall not pursue profit for distribution.
§7.4 Any surplus of income over expenditure shall be applied exclusively to the objectives set out in §2.1 and shall not be distributed to members, board members or officers.
§9.2 Upon liquidation, the remaining assets shall be transferred to another association or foundation with comparable public benefit objectives in the field of vocational education or construction quality.

Sources of income
- Annual membership fees from individual craftsmen, contracting companies and apprentices.
- Examination, re-certification and inspection fees charged at cost recovery.

- Project grants for vocational education and occupational safety.
Governing body disclosures
- The Board is elected by the General Meeting for a three-year term and reports annually on activities and finances.
- Committee members declare commercial interests; a member may not assess, inspect or certify works in which they hold an interest.
- The annual activity report and financial statement are approved by the General Meeting and filed with the competent Latvian authorities.
- Members may request inspection of the statutes, annual report and General Meeting minutes at the office during reception hours.
