Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 July 2026

1. Scope

These terms govern use of the website operated by Latvijas Sausās Būves Un Apdares Darbu Uzņēmumu Un Meistaru Biedrība, registration number 40008111200. By using the website you accept these terms.

2. Purpose of the website

The website is an informational and public benefit service of a non-profit trade association. It is not a marketplace, and the association does not act as a party to, broker of, or guarantor of any contract between a member and a client.

3. Member directory access

The directory is provided so that credentials can be verified individually. Automated collection, scraping, bulk extraction, or reuse of directory data for marketing or database compilation is prohibited.

Directory entries reflect the association's records at the time of publication. Certification may be suspended between updates; where a credential is material to a decision, confirm it with the office in writing.

4. Technical guidance disclaimer

Technical guidelines, commentary and downloadable samples are general information for competent tradespeople. They do not replace project-specific design, structural or fire engineering, statutory building control, or manufacturer instructions. The association accepts no liability for works executed solely on the basis of published general guidance.

5. Intellectual property

All institutional content — standards documents, guidance, examination materials, texts, photographs, the association name, emblem and the LSDUB mark — is the property of the association or its licensors. It may be quoted for review, education or reporting with attribution. Commercial reproduction, or use implying endorsement or certification, requires prior written permission.

6. Acceptable use

You may not misrepresent membership or certification status, submit false information through website forms, attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, or interfere with the availability of the website.

7. Liability

The website is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by Latvian law, the association excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Latvia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of EU law.
